Hey guys! I hope you had a great weekend!
I did, since I celebrated the wedding of one of my closest friends.
It was simply amazing! Beautiful bride and groom, beautiful location, great people, great music,… it was just plain perfect.
Today I’m sharing with you the outfit I wore on that day. Later on the week, I’ll share with you my wedding essentials and some snapshots of the day itself.
For my outfit, I had a hard time because I wanted something that represented me, but appropriate for a wedding. Light since we’re in the middle of summer, and ideally an open back (don’t need to tell you why, do I?)
I first spotted a green silk dress, so pretty, so chic, from Sessun. When I went to get it at the store, it was sold out. I have looked everywhere, checked out every single eshop selling Sessun online, my dress was nowhere to be found.
My only hope was a dress spotted on Topshop, that seemed sweet and beautiful, with an amazing open back. The only thing is that it was from Topshop which meant that I couldn’t try it on, and it could have looked awefull, or be made in a ugly fabric.
I took the risk (mostly because I couldn’t find any other dress), and thankfully, when it arrived 5 days before the wedding, it was perfect. By chance, it was matching my camper shoes perfectly, which are probably my most comfortable heels.
