Today I take you, once again, back to my trip in Bali. I want to tell you about my trekking with Agus (Tikus), the guide of Authentik Bali.
We met each other on my second day in Bali, through other people. He told me about his trekking experience, and how it was. It interested me right away, especially since a trekking was already on my to do list.
And I have to say, it was one of my best memories from this entire month. I ended up booking a second trekking at the end of my stay, since I had loved the first one so much. All in all he has around 15 different treks, so I know I’ll probably do another one next time I go to Bali.
The trekking usually last the entire day, and Agus (Balinese for Augustin) will take you in the real Bali. Be carefull, there is no definite path, it’s the nature. You walk through rice fields, you climb, sometimes you fall, you walk/swim through a river. It’s the adventure! And it’s so much fun!
You also get to see the real Bali, which is truly amazing. You meet Balinese people that are far away from touristic places and that are really authentik. They are the nicest!
Another really good point is that Agus is french so I can do the trek either in french or english. And during the entire day, he will tell you all about Balinese culture and stories, which makes it even more interesting.
Enough talking, have a look at the pictures!
