Today I want to share with you an outfit I wore last week. Sadly, the same problem still occurs, I didn’t have anybody to take the picture.
I made a few try out inside the apartment but the result isn’t that great… I’m still working on finding new solutions
At least, I can show you a tiny bit of what I was wearing, which is: my fabulous Acne skirt. I bought it in NYC in august, and it’s been waiting for its big day in my closet. Because that skirt is so big, but also so warm (you should see how wide is the fabric itself), I had to wait for the first cold days to arrive.
I love how this skirt has a wow effect to it, and I can’t wait to wear it again!
At night, I switched the denim shirt for a silk white blouse, and my boots for heels.
Wearing: CAROLL jumper – ZARA denim shirt – ACNE skirt – SACHA boots – WOLFORD tights – LOBO GATO necklace
An outfit! For real!
Sometimes I make an effort… No, that’s not it exactly. Sometimes I have the courage to harass someone in the street so they can take my picture. Yesterday the harassment was made on my friend Jey who did a great job at shooting my outfit.
This outfit features my brand new pants from Athe Vanessa Bruno (I told you about it here). Isn’t it great? I mean, sometime it does feel like wearing pijama pants BUT:
- even though, isn’t it so cool, and colorful and fun (especially during those grey autumn/winter coming days)
- who doesn’t like to wear a pijama? it’s even better to wear it all day long!
I wanted the pants to be the star of the outfit, so I played it safe next to it with soft colors.
What’s best than a huge scarf to wrap yourself in during cold days, uh?
Wearing: ABERCROMBIE&FITCH jumper – FOREVER21 tee – ATHE VANESSA BRUNO pants – NEW BALANCE sneakers – MEXX via 3SUISSES belt – SAM EDELMAN bag – HUMANOID scarf – LADY GUILMOT beanie – LOBOGATO necklace
Today I want to share with you the outfit I was wearing to celebrate the 10 years of the magazine Elle Belgium.
I wanted to wear something chic (it was kind of the theme), but still be myself.
I immediately knew that I wanted to wear those cat ears with the little veil. It’s out of stock on Asos, so I stole it to my friend Isa (thanks again honey!). Choosing the top was pretty easy too, I bought this one last week at H&M, and I’m madly in love with it. It’s very simple, but looks great. The problem was the bottom part; a pants was too hard to find with the right cut. A skirt was the perfect match, but I had to find the right one. It couldn’t be too low on my stomach, and not too high either. And with the right shape. And black. And chic. Talk to me about a nightmare.
Then, all of a sudden, I remembered that I had this beautiful Alexander Wang skirt hanging in my closet for MONTHS.
Ok really poor quality of picture, sorry about that…
I bought this little beauty back in January during the sales, at Lady Dandy. I’ve loved it ever since, even though it’s not something I can wear everyday. And it was magically the perfect match to the rest of my outfit.
Now, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves
With my friend François
The ELLE party was followed by an amazing night at Anarchic… Things got a little wild
And just like that, in between two dancemoves, Felix DaHouscat became my bestfriend
Thanks again Elle for the great party!
I spend tuesday in Paris to discover the Spring/Summer collection of 3 suisses. I’ll soon tell you more about it, but for now, I’ll share with you my outfit.
I wanted something nice, but keeping me warm, and also comfortable (taking the train, Paris metro, walking around, staying up all day,…)
I went for my brand new leggings, the ones I told you about here. Either fake or real leather always makes a barrier for the cold, and these days, it definitely helps! I paired it with a wool sweater from J.CREW, my all time favourite boots from Sacha, and my brand new Gigue scarf.
Wearing: JULIE legging – J.CREW jumper – FOREVER21 tee – SACHA boots – GIGUE scarf – JEROME DREYFUSS bag
What is that for an inspirational title you ask?
Well, it’s the only that came in mind, looking at today’s outfit. Because yes, lately I’ve been wearing a lot of black, which isn’t something that I usually do.
Maybe it’s the depressing weather that gets me in that mood? Also, lots of the pieces of my wardrobe that I enjoy wearing lately are black, but they could have been in other colors. Look at that coat for example, I just got it (at Zara for 40€ – let me mention that it is made 60% of wool) and I just wear it every single day. And it could have been pink, or red though. Anyway, it’s an easy piece, goes with really everything I own, it’s warm and it protects me from the rain. So in case you were wondering what I’ve been wearing these past days: it this and my new jacket from Superdry (coming up on the blog soon, promise)
Wearing: ZARA coat – FOREVER21 blazer – ASOS boyfriend shirt – CHEAP MONDAY jeans – SACHA boots – NEW LOOK beanie
Sorry for the bad picture quality, but at least I was able to take outfit photos inside!
That’s it! I’m 25! What a change, can you see it?
Do I look older already? (check the pictures bellow, and let me know)
I had a little celebration at home on saturday eve, so I wanted to share a few pics with you guys. And you can also admire my MaasmechelenVillage made outfit in action!
Yes, I am wearing flip flops!
The crew! My friends <3 and a lot of pink cups…
Today I’ll share with you the outfit I wore yesterday to Maasmechelen Village.
It was my first time there so I was really excited, and was really impressed. It was way better than I expected, but I’ll tell you more about that tomorrow.
My outfit for yesterday was kind of casual, I knew we had to have over an hour driving there so I wanted something comfortable. Here is what I came up with
Wearing: FOREVER21 top and blazer – CHEAP MONDAY jeans – NIKE DUNK SKY HIGH sneakers – JEROME DREYFUSS bag – ZORA by L bracelet – various brands necklaces and rings
Meet me on the blog tomorrow to find out why I went to Maasmechelen Village and what I found!
I don’t want to say goodbye to summer just yet.
I just love way to much to walk bare legs, be able to go out without an enormous jacket/coat, not feel the cool breeze all the way to your bones while you make your first step out of your home, being able to sit outside when the sun is out…
Oh well, I’ll get ready for winter at some point. Until then, I will celebrate the non existent summer all by myself. And I’ll do that with a fluffy blue skirt!
Wearing: BROOKLYN&BROOME silk top – TOPSHOP skirt – NINE WEST shoes – ZARA jacket – SAM EDELMAN bag – ZORA BY L bracelet – TIFFANYS BRACELET – FOREVER21 necklace
How was your weekend? Mine was super busy with work, I’m dead tired.
Here is an outfit I wore last week, it’s the kind of clothes combination I love to wear. Easy but fun, colorful, and very « me ».
This yellow shirt is probably one of my favourite items I own, and so is my jeans. They just fit so perfectly. For the shoes, they were the winning price from a contest I entered a few years back. We had to design our own Timberland shoes, and the best design were actually made, so here they are. I really love them, but sadly they’re a bit big, so I don’t wear them that often.
While dressing up, I did not realized I was wearing autumn colors, but it ended up being a great match with the colors of the leaves from the back yard of my office!
Oh, and the wild part is due to my wierd posing, obviously.
I think I was trying to have a picture of me jumping up. That did not work out.
Wearing: MAJE blazer – JCREW shirt – TRUE RELIGION jeans – TIMBERLAND shoes – RAYBAN sunglasses
I’m back, and alive, after what was one of the best Sweet Sixteen Party ever! (from my point of view at least).
I’m still tired from this big event I had to plan for weeks, so it explains yeterday’s very casual outfit.
I’ll tell you more about the party as soon as I have the pictures
Yesterday’s look was surprisingly moslty black, but it was easy. I love those jeans I got a few years back at Reservoir Shop, and this tee is just so lovely. The kind of pretty tee that exists for the days you don’t know what to wear, you know what I mean?
Wearing: FOREVER21 blazer – ANN TAYLOR LOFT tee – CHEAP MONDAY jeans – CONVERSE sneakers – SAM EDELMAN bag
