Well today is one of those days, and all I was looking for in my outfit was being comfy.

It’s far from being « fashion exciting », but it’s just to show that anybody can have those days, and I’m the first one to say that it’s good to have days off.

And today my day off is full of pink

A few of you told me that yesterday’s outfit wasn’t really appropriate. I knew it and totally agree about that statement.

I figured what you really wanted to see is how I would dress with temperatures that went below zero and 10cm snow on the ground. And right there, I decided I’d show you. That’s when I requested obliged my roommate to come outside with me and take a few pictures.

This is exactly the kind of outfit I go for with weather like we have now: it’s all about being warm, while not caring about how it looks (I mean, not really). And in the search of being confortable at the same time, I guess it looks a lot like a men outfit. But I love it.

I have to say my new jeans 501 (really lose fit) that I took 5 sizes bigger (NO KIDDIN’) to make a boyfriend jeans, definitly helped on this one.

Oh, and about the following pictures, I’m still a kid about snow (or anything else for that matter I think…), and that explains that.

Right there, you can see that if I had any tan from thailand, it’s now completely gone. Or maybe it’s just the reflection of the snow on my skin?

Drop it like it’s HAT

Hey guys!

For my Belgian readers, how are you surviving this snow? Are you homeworking under a blanket with hot chocolate? (for my non belgian readers: Belgium is completely under the snow, traffic is blocked, it’s a nightmare…)

I’m going to share with you the outfit I wore last thursday (indeed, when the weather was still nice and SO not appropriate for today).

For this outfit, I got inspired by my friend Cristina who came for lunch last week with a hat similar to this one. I have to admit, she amazes me, her outfits are always SO cute and pretty 365 days/year (including sundays, pregnant days, studying days…) It reminded me of the hat I bought over a year ago at Forever 21 in San Francisco (let’s go back <3 )

Leather Pants

By -3 degrees (or minus ANY degree when it comes to below zero), my major goal, sartorialy speaking, is to be warm (that’s obvious) and comfortable.

Not looking like a walking blanket is a plus, but let’s be honest, not always easy to proceed.

Yesterday, I was randomly looking at streetstyle pictures from NYFW, and that’s when I came across pictures of Emmanuelle Alt (Editor in Chief of Vogue FR)

A grey jumper, a slouchy leather pants, a belt and a fur. Simple, but pretty, fashionable and easy.

I got inspired and reproduced the outfit in my own way: a grey men’s jumper, slouchy leather pants and a belt. And it works!

I added my good old fashioned Palladium, because they work their magic to: brave to cold AND the snow, and they add that little 90′s touch that I have been brought to love so much lately. Over the jumper I went for a blazer rather than fur. It was just more appropriate for today.

Bathroom party!

Hey guys! Long time no see, what’s up?

Alright, today it’s all about saturday night and my outfit. In a men’s bathroom.

I partied and danced the night away at Bar Dolores with friends, which is probably one of the coolest bar of Brussels. ANYWAYS. I was really inspired by the 90′s, and decided to wear my recently purchased cropped top. And even though I grew up in the 90′s, sartorialy inspired by Britney Spears (btw they play Britney at Bar Dolores, HOW COOL) and the Spice Girls, I never wore a cropped top before. It was just never flatering to my figure. But then I thought, why not wear it with something high waisted? And here comes my new skirt. To that, add a beanie or a cap, platform shoes, bling bling jewelry, and there you go, back in the days when the Hansons were the hottest brothers on the planet.

Pijama Party?

While I’m still thinking about my future hair color, I thought I’d share with you my sleeping outfit.

Yeah that sounds weird, I know.

A while back I received this really cool pijamas for next summer, and I thought it would be perfect to bring to Thailand. It’s really light, but cute and all sparky (who doesn’t love sparkles, honestly?)
