In my Closet

There we go, it finally happened… a sneak peek in my closet!

Organised by color and by kind: first blazers, then pants, skirts and shorts, then blouses, tops and shirts, and finally my dresses (sorry for the blurry picture, but there is sadly no much light coming directly in the closet)

First two piles are mainly basic tees (the ones I use very often) and then in the back (left) my printed tees, and in back (right) my party tees.

On the left are most of my pants and a few jeans, and on the right my skirts and my shorts, plus a few long dresses

My jeans! Rolled up because if they’re not, I wont have enough space for them all. Styleplayground deffinitly inspired me on this one

My heels. My other shoes are either on the floor or hanging in the wardrobe, as you can see in the first picture

Most of my accessories: my belts, necklaces, bracelets, a few earrings, flowers crowns, scarves, glasses and on the box on the right are all my nailpolishes

Hey guys!

How was your easter weekend? Mine included work and house cleaning. Yes HOUSE CLEANING. I hate it. But once in a while it feels good.

I’ve been wanting to share a few shots of my home with you guys for a while, and since my place was so neat and cleane, it was now or never.

Just so you know, easter weekend was filled with family event which explains why we have so many flowers (we usually have 1 bouquet at a time). For the rest of the home decoration, it’s mostly the art of my roommate, but I try to add my own touches here and there.

My bedroom

My bedroom counter, where I keep important documents, my perfume and usually the rest is really random (jewelry, sunglasses, chargers, lighter,…) and my pink crown, of course.

In my bathroom: the beauty « departement ». A little bit of make up (especially lipsticks), face cream, masks and peeling. My Nuxe oil bottles, creams for my hands. In the back, some make up remover and nailpolish remover. Underneath are most of my shampoos, conditionner and masks.

I’ve lived there for a year (2006/2007) and went back every year since then. I left there a part of my heart, my family and my beloved friends.

Brunch

Hey guys!

Today I want to share with you a few pictures of yesterday’s brunch at my place. Brunch is probably my favourite meal EVER! There are salty and sweet dishes, and usually there are tons of stuff to eat.

Yesterday, I gathered few of my girlfriends for a brunch at my place which was a first. And it was so much fun!

For this occasion, I made some of my favourite brunch dishes: pancakes, oven roasted potatoes and apple crumble (and also eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, salads,…)

For my pancakes, I usually use Aunt Jemima pancake mix brought back from the USA. It’s delicious. If you don’t have any, here is a recipe for American Pancakes

I LOVE some good old roasted potatoes (or hash browns) for brunchs and breakfasts. Follow my recipe to make these:

*1kg of potatoes (I choose the ones special for oven bake)
* 3 tablespoon olive oil
* 2-3 teaspoons of paprika
* 1-2 teaspoons garlic salt
* Pepper & salt
*Rosemary (4 branches)

It’s up to you to leave to skin on or not (I didn’t). Cut the potatoes in little pieces (not too little). Toss the paprika, the garlic salt, the salt&pepper and the olive oil. Mix it all together in the plate with the potatoes (use your fingers). Add two branches of rosemary on top and put it in the oven at 220°C for 30 minutes. Pull it out, mix it all together (rosemary also) and put it back in the oven for another 15 to 20 minutes.

Then, add two branches of rosemary on top for decoration

Probably one of my favourite dessert, and surely my favourite one to bake. It’s easy, and SO DELICIOUS!

My recipe (for a big plate like this one – for 10 ppl or so):

* 6-7 apples (depends on their size)
*150gr flour
*150gr sugar
*125gr butter

Peel and cut the apple in little pieces (1-2 cm long and large) put them in the plate. In a bowl, put the flour the sugar and the butter (my advice is to let the butter out of the fridge about 30 min before so it’s not too hard. And also cut it in small pieces). Mix them together to create something that looks like sand (kinda thick, but not a paste). Put it on top of the apples and then in the oven for 30 minutes at 210°C.

(I usually put it back in the oven for a little bit before serving it. It’s warm and the apple melted a little more, DELICIOUS!

There we go, my tips for a super dupper yummy brunch!
