Canggu, la suite…

Hey guys!

Here is the second part of the article about Canggu (Canggu area and Seminyak), with my favourite addresses.

The next spot is Motel Mexicola

Motel Mexicola is actually located in the center of Seminyak, in a little hidden street. I’m crazy about mexican/tex-mex food, and since it’s really hard to find in Brussels, I was over excited to be able to finally have some mexican goodness.

Besides the food, the places is just amazingly BEAUTIFUL! And the cocktails are super delicious. The price is a little higher than other places, but it’s worth it. I went alone so it wasn’t that exciting but with a bunch of people it looks a lot more fun. And I believe the nights usually end in big parties

Let’s continue on a mexican vibe with Lacalita

I discovered it by passing in front of it a few times to go to the beach. It was actually located the street just next to my guest house, so not even a 5min drive (in Canggu). It seemed mexican, and the place looked so cute I couldn’t resist.

The first time I hate outside a delicious fish burger. I took a picture of the place, posted it on instagram and ended up talking to the instagram account of the restaurant a few days later. I was already planning on coming back, but they definitely convinced me.

That second time I sat at the bar, and enjoyed talking to the different bartenders, they were all super nice, giving me advice on what to eat, but also on where to go to have fun in the neighborhood. I also had one of the best tacos in my life!

Really cool place, but especially, REALLY pretty!

The beach Bar (or whatever its name is)

I discover thanks to my friends living in Canggu, it’s a place where they really like to go and where they took my twice during my stay.

It is literally in front of the ocean, and they also allow you to have a table on the beach. The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset. It’s located in between Canggu and Seminyak

Since I don’t have the name of the place, I can tell you that it’s a few meters after the Mozaic. You can’t miss it, it’s a small wood house (which is the bar) and a few wooden tables and chairs. You can also eat there if you want.

Look at this view!

Next and last spot will be Echo Beach

Still in Canggu, it looks like a big terrace with an amazing ocean view.

They have lots of seafood, cooked on a BBQ, it’s just super yummy. The atmosphere (at least for lunch) is quiet and relaxing. I was, for the most, hypnotised by the sea (or by my plate haha)

And that’s how I ended my beautiful stay. With those delicious grilled shrimps.
