So last week I had to opportunity to try the new burger bar in Brussels, in none other than the Chatelain neighborhood, called Marcel.
Their name says it all, this place is all about burger. Nothing fancy, they focus on good bases: delicious meat, good bread, and then it all depends which one you choose, but it doesn’t seems like you can go wrong.
Here you can have a look at their menu
The range of different burger isn’t big, because as I just said, they focus on quality rather than quantity.
I went for the cheese bacon, my typical choice, and I have to say it was super yummy. I was especially impressed by the fries. Because this guys are french, and we, belgians, are hard to compete when it comes to fries. But hey, they were dammmnn good! I wasn’t so crazy about their homemade sauce (personal choice) but was very happy with the different sauce I could find at my table (especially the Dallas one).
The place is neat, without being over the top. The concept stays really “bar” like with you meal being served on a plater, but it didn’t really bother me.
And yes, you can finish your dining experience with a photo souvenir, how fun!?
