Discovering…. Cŏcīna – Negozio & Trattoria

A few weeks back, I had the occasion to discover the new Italian in town: Cŏcīna – Negozio & Trattoria

Strategically located in the heard of Ixelles, across from the Parc Tenbosch (which gives a real impression of nature and out of the city feeling once you’re on the terrace), this new restaurant is one not to miss.

Here they focus on making delicious and qualitative italian dishes, which explains why the menu isn’t really big. About 6 or 8 pasta dishes, 3-4 starters, one meat dish and one fish dish.

I had the burrata as starter to share, it was just perfect. Then I went for the pasta with salsiccia and artichoke. It was really yummy, the portion was perfect, but if you choose the same dish, be careful, the cheese & the salsiccia make it really salty.

The prices are correct, nothing crazy but I wouldn’t call it cheap either. It’s really coherent with the food being served, the place and where it’s located.

It’s definitly one place to try, but I would definitely advice you to book your table in advance, as this little place has become one of the new “place to be” of the capital.
